I will be one of the stallholders at this year’s Christmas Art Bazaar at Lambton Park where there’ll be a huge variety of gift ideas! I will have my paintings for sale.

Art Bazaar has been Newcastle’s essential Christmas shopping destination since 2002. Hunter Arts Network’s third Art Bazaar at Lambton Park is being held on Sunday 19 November 2017 from 9am – 3pm. Lambton Park is located on the Corner of Howe & Morehead Sts, Lambton, so Art Bazaar will be surrounded by beautiful parklands & great scenery. Lambton is a densely populated residential area located around some of Newcastle’s main roads making it a convenient suburb for transport. Hunter Arts Network’s Art Bazaar Pop Up Weekend was on this weekend at The Levee during the Aroma Festival at Maitland on Saturday 12 August and at Dan Rees St Carpark at Wallsend Winter Fair on Sunday 13 August. I had a stall at both events which both drew a massive crowds around 30,000 at one of them! We had fantastic weather and yesterday was more like Summer than Winter! I sold one of my original paintings and one of my new acrylic block prints!

Hunter Arts Network is excited to launch Art Bazaar Pop Up in 2017. The first Art Bazaar Pop Up will be held at Wallsend Winter Fair on Sunday 13 August 2017 in the Dan Rees Street Carpark. Stallholder applications will be open soon.

The Wallsend Winter Fair is a free fun filled, family friendly day. It is one of the largest, if not the largest street event in the Newcastle LGA; attracting up to 30,000 visitors throughout the day.

Browse through approximately 120 vibrant specialty stalls and local businesses, that will be offering unique arts, crafts, gifts, clothing, jewellery and much more.

Take a break and enjoy the many fresh and tasty food cuisines on offer in the food precinct and from our local cafes & restaurants. Visitors can also sit back and enjoy local musicians, school bands, choirs and dance schools perform on our two stages

Visitors that enjoy the thrill of amusement rides – there will be two precincts offering the latest rides for all the family.

Three of my paintings have been accepted for the Bush to Beach Exhibition at The Bank Glass Gallery! 👍🎨❤️🎉

The exhibition will run from Thursday 27 April – Saturday 13 May 2017 at 564 Hunter St, Newcastle West.

Opening Night – Thursday 27th April 6pm.

The Bank Glass Gallery opened in Feb 2016, and is owner operated by Lee Howes a Novocastrian glass artist. Lee and her husband Tim bought the premises and have converted the ground floor into a studio and gallery and an upstairs residence. Lee operates her “Lee Howes Glass” business form her studio and sells glass art and other hunter based artwork from the gallery space.

The gallery is showcasing the work of local artists across a range styles. There will be paintings, ceramics, photography, wood work, jewellery, textiles, and of course glass.

Art Bazaar was held at Warners Bay today for the first time by Hunter Arts Network where I had a stall to sell my paintings. Despite an overnight drenching and almost gale force winds, the weather calmed down and the event went ahead. We had a very overcast day but we still managed to attract a great crowd which was constant for most of the event, although we had to pack up one hour early when the weather suddenly turned again. There were almost 60 artisan stalls at the market and I had a pleasing result with two of my paintings being sold. For more information about the event visit http://hunterartsnetwork.org/
