Looking forward to the next Hunter Arts Network Art Bazaar which is being held at Lambton Park on Sunday 27 August 2023 from 10am – 3pm!
I will be one of approximately fifty stallholders from the Hunter region of NSW. We are all creative makers who have been selected by Hunter Arts Network with our high quality and original work.
I’m excited because next month Hunter Arts Network Art Bazaar returns to Lambton Park on Sunday 26 March 2023. We will be there from 10am to 3pm. I am one of the sixty Hunter Arts Network members to have a stall at the market. This is where I have my artworks for sale. I have had a stall at every Art Bazaar for the last nine years.
Art Bazaar has been held every year since 2002! When Art Bazaar began it was originally held in Laman Street. Art Bazaar started with an idea from Newcastle City Council and this is how Hunter Arts Network was formed. Twenty years ago Art Bazaar began to develop a loyal following and fan base. HAN is run by a dedicated committee of volunteers who have also worked hard to celebrate all modalities of visual arts and the committee that has come together continues to do an amazing job to make this happen.
Stallholders are selected based on the originality and quality of their wares – so there’s plenty to capture your imagination. Bring the family or meet up with friends to wander the stalls to find unique gifts or treat for yourself, and meet the local Hunter makers and artists.
After what has been some patchy Covid years by purchasing direct from the makers you’ll be supporting their hand made work and you get to take home a one-of-a kind treasure
All stallholders are members of Hunter Arts Network. The event showcases their unique, handmade artisan goods including a wide variety of carefully selected stalls featuring premium local artisan handmade products. Art Bazaar has cemented it’s reputation since 2002 as the event that showcases the Hunter’s creative & vibrant art community that locals & visitors look forward to several times every year. Food trucks, coffee and entertainment is also on offer.
These events will be conducted in accordance with State Government Covid-19 restrictions which may change or apply at these times
I’m excited to share Hunter Arts Network’s announcement for next year’s Art Bazaar dates! Art Bazaar will be returning to Lambton Park on:

Hunter Arts Network regrets to advise that Art Bazaar is unable to go ahead this Sunday 28 November at Lambton Park.
Council has inspected all of their sites and cancelled all sporting events because of the grounds being water logged from the recent rain event and recommended we do the same.
Whilst Sunday could be a finer day than what we’ve been experiencing lately, like Council, we are very concerned about people’s safety due to the condition of the grounds and the damage which could be caused to the grounds as their sites will not have had the opportunity to dry out. We will provide a further update once we have confirmed if we are able to re-schedule or need to cancel until next year. We apologise for the inconvenience. Yours sincerely, Hunter Arts Network
