I sold FIVE of my paintings to one very happy customer yesterday! I’ll have to get busy painting more for Art Bazaar next month! Here’s one of my paintings at it’s new home – titled “Happy Trails”!

 

 

 

 

 

 

I’ll have my paintings for sale at Hunter Arts Network’s Art Bazaar at Closebourne Morpeth on Sunday 28 August 2016 from 10am – 3pm. This year Art Bazaar will coincide with the final day of Morpeth Novelty Teapot Exhibition which is the town’s trademark showcase of quirky ceramics which runs for two weeks & keeps growing every year. Located on the Front Paddock, Closebourne, Corner of Tank St & Morpeth Rd, in the historic town of Morpeth, the Hunter Valley’s premier boutique shopping and dining venue. Wander down the gorgeous sandstone streets to find colonial buildings occupied by modern and inviting cafés, pubs, galleries, boutiques, antique shops and local businesses. Morpeth is situated on the banks for the Hunter River, just two hours drive north from Sydney.

Art Bazaar has developed into a major art event for the region which now attracts many visitors from out of the area and is the Hunter’s premier artisan and design marketplace. Art Bazaar is a great way to show families and visitors how wonderful our creative community is. Recent accolades include Volunteer Grants 2015, 2015 Hunter Local Business Awards Finalist, 2015 Stockland Community Grants Winner & 2014 QantasLink Hunter & Central Coast Awards for Excellence in Tourism Finalist.

On Sunday 3 April 2016 I had a stall at Hunter Arts Network’s first Art Bazaar at Speers Point Park. We were pleased with the new location which attracted a large crowd, the sun was good to us & I had a very successful day selling my two largest framed paintings!

My exhibition at Gallery & Grind Belmont finishes this Saturday 19 March so there is still a couple of days to pop in & have a look! 600 Pacific Highway, Belmont, open Mon – Fri 5.30am-3pm, Sat 7am-3pm, Sun 7am-1pm weekdays.

Sand Dollars are a species of extremely flattened, burrowing sea urchins which consists of plates arranged in a fivefold radial pattern.
