Go behind the scenes with Lake Mac’s creative community at Lake Mac Meet the Makers at the Museum of Art and Culture yapang (MAC yapang) on Saturday 8 June 2024

Meet the Makers is a whole day event where artists and makers from across Lake Macquarie will showcase and demonstrate their practice to the community at the Museum of Art and Culture yapang (MAC yapang). There are over 50 artists participating in the event, and artists represent a broad range of mediums, including painting, drawing, textile art, glass making, ceramics and more.

Members of the public will have the opportunity meet artists and learn more about their creative process, and purchase unique artworks to take home. The event will take place from 10am – 4pm in the marquee and foyer of MAC yapang.

To compliment the event there will also be food trucks, MAC café, a bar and a Jazz band on the back patio.
