Art Bazaar Lake Macquarie RESCHEDULED DATE

AB Lake Mac 2015 Facebook The rescheduled date for Hunter Arts Network’s (HAN) fourth annual Lake Macquarie Art Bazaar is Sunday 31 May 2015 & I will be having a stall. HAN was forced to postpone Art Bazaar due to poor weather. Art Bazaar will be returning to the grounds of Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery (LMCAG) from 10am – 3pm. Located on the shores of beautiful Lake Macquarie, this award winning gallery with expansive grounds including Sculpture Park, mosaic pathway & Awaba House Restaurant Café is an exceptional cultural and tourist destination. Hunter Arts Network is thrilled to announce we have received a 2015 Stockland Community Grant!!! Thanks to Stockland Glendale we have received $500 which will go towards promoting our next Art Bazaar at LMCAG on 31 May! Free tracks samples from Newcastle University Choir’s first CD

Here’s the link for free tracks samples from Newcastle University Choir’s CD. The Choir intends to launch the CD at their Santa Swings concert today at 2pm at the Great Hall. The cover artwork, “Newcastle-Vivid”, by Newcastle artist Margo Humphries, was specifically commissioned for this CD by owner Joan Bona.

Newcastle University Choir CD Launch

Newcastle University Choir’s CD intends to launch their first CD at the Christmas Concert on 15 December. I’m looking forward to seeing the cover art!! The CD will be available for purchase at the Christmas concert, on the Choir’s website & at other outlets

The CD showcases the Choir’s sound, personality and flexibility. The repertoire has been chosen from choral works that have given pleasure to their audiences over the years, including movements from Messiah and other classical favourites, interesting Christmas music, and jazz with local jazz identity, pianist and composer Terence Koo.

Art Bazaar features original handcrafted goods from over 100 local Hunter Arts Network (HAN) artists.

The Hunter’s premier artisan & design marketplace, Art Bazaar, is held quarterly by HAN, which is a non-profit membership of Artists, Designers, Jewellers and craft people from the Hunter region.

Every Art Bazaar is spread out on the expansive grounds of the impressive locations.

Art Bazaars are FREE entry & there’s also be demonstrations, loads of parking, food, drinks & ATM’s.

Enjoy meeting the artists & designers who have carefully created for the reputable event providing access beyond the boundaries of the gallery.

It is an affordable opportunity for both the public & the creative people of Newcastle & the Hunter

All images of my work are available for Licensing. A licensing request needs to be sent to Viscopy. For Viscopy to be able to issue a licence please supply the following information to viscopylicensing@copyright.com.au:

– Name of the artist: Margo Humphries
– Title of the work/s: eg “Lansdowne Escarpment”
– Your company/organisation
– Title of the publication/product
– Will you be reproducing the art work in full or will you be using a detail? Cropped or detail uses require Viscopy to seek prior approval from the copyright holder
– Distribution territory – Australia and New Zealand or worldwide? Our licensing generally covers Australia and New Zealand, and worldwide for online uses. Additional territory loadings may apply
– Duration of licence (1 year, 5 years etc)
– Print run of the publication/product
– For books; is it an interior or cover page? Cover pages are charged at a higher rate because of the exposure of the work. If interior, what is the size of the reproduction – full page, quarter page etc?
– Will there also be an e-publication or CD-Rom version of any printed material?
– For online uses: how long will the image(s) be online and the website address? We generally license online uses for one year. What is the context of how the work will be used- on the homepage, promoting a collection, editorial content or advertising use?

– Do you need permission for any other associated uses (eg. for the art work to be used in an advertising campaign)?
