Resale Royalty

All of my artworks which have gone to new owners appear on this page. When artworks are re-sold to the next owners this will involve the Resale Royalty Scheme.

The Copyright Agency has been appointed by the Australian Government to collect and pay royalties to artists on resales of artworks.

Under the artists’ Resale Royalty Scheme, all resales of artworks for $1,000 or more must be reported, and a 5% royalty is payable on certain resales.

The scheme requires the seller, or the seller’s agent, to report all commercial resales for $1,000 or more, whether or not a royalty is payable.
