Today’s Hunter Arts Network Art Bazaar at Lambton Park was a huge success!
Thank you to everyone who attended Hunter Arts Network Art Bazaar today at Lambton Park and supported our local artists and artisans – we had such a huge line up of incredible makers. We were thrilled to see our first 2022 Art Bazaar attract such a great turnout. Although the day started off soggy underfoot this soon dried out and we were very lucky to have break from the rain with plenty of sunshine giving us and the huge crowd a pearler of a day and I sold my “Empty Shelf” painting

“90 zips” wall hanging now complete!
“90 zips” is #2 in my zip wall hanging series, #1 was “121 zips”. “90 zips” was made using all of the blue coloured zips and is also adorned with ocean-themed charms.
I sorted hundreds of zips by colour for my zip wall hangings after I had sourced them from op shops around Newcastle and Lake Macquarie in 2007 (before Covid).

Zip wall hanging update
This is the layout for my next zip wall hanging which is using all of the blue zips have sourced. I purchased hundreds of zips from op shops around Newcastle and Lake Macquarie in 2007 (before Covid so the zips are Covid-free). I have sold my first zip wall hanging last month which contained 121 zips using the purple, yellow, orange, pink and red zips. Stay tuned for progress photos after the sewing has commenced.

Hunter Arts Network Art Bazaar Sunday 3 April 2022
My next stall will be at Hunter Arts Network Art Bazaar at Lambton Park, Cnr Morehead and Howe Sts, Lambton. This is where I will have my paintings for sale
Stallholders are selected based on the originality and quality of their wares – so there’s plenty to capture your imagination. Bring the family or meet up with friends to wander the stalls to find unique gifts or treat for yourself, and meet the local Hunter makers and artists.
By purchasing direct from the makers you’ll be supporting their work after what’s been another difficult year and you get to take home a one-of-a kind treasure or get in early with your Christmas shopping!
All stallholders are members of Hunter Arts Network. The event showcases their unique, handmade artisan goods including a wide variety of carefully selected stalls featuring premium local artisan handmade products. Art Bazaar has cemented it’s reputation since 2002 as the event that showcases the Hunter’s creative & vibrant art community that locals & visitors look forward to several times every year. Food trucks, coffee and entertainment is also on offer. HAN is run by a dedicated committee of volunteers who have also worked hard to celebrate all modalities of visual arts

We were thrilled to hold Art Bazaar again and see our re-scheduled date attract such a great turnout with such short notice. It was great to see attendees comply with Covid restrictions and favourable weather to boot!
I had a very successful day of sales with both of my textile wall hangings sold.
